It started with Recruitier
Plaatsr doesn't start with Plaatsr. It starts with Recruitier: an AI platform for recruitment agencies that Martin built after his MSc in AI and five years as a developer. Sourcing, matching, vacancies, all in one product.
For two years he worked on that platform and sat down with agencies every week. Those conversations taught him more than the technology did. The AI did what it was supposed to do. But between a good demo and a team that works with it daily, the same hurdle kept showing up.
The insight: nobody wants yet another platform
Every agency works differently. Its own ATS or staffing software, its own criteria, its own way of working. A platform forces all those agencies into the same mold and asks recruiters and staffing consultants to learn a new tool on top of the work that already needs doing. That's where most AI plans fail, not on the technology.
The question that kept coming back in those conversations was a different one: can't you just build this inside our systems? No new login, no course. Just take the time sinks out of the process that's already there. That's not a product. That's custom work, with someone who keeps maintaining it.
So we built Plaatsr
Plaatsr is that insight turned into a service. We build AI systems inside the tools you already have: your ATS or staffing software, your mailbox, your calendar. We maintain them, adapt them when your way of working changes, and stay reachable when something isn't working.
The terms are simple: fixed prices up front, systems that run in your own environment, no lock-in. If we stop, you can keep going.
