AI automation agencies for recruitment agencies compared (2026)

Look for an agency to build AI for you in the Netherlands and you end up with a handful of names. We are one of them, so read this with that in mind. Everything below comes from what these agencies say on their own sites, checked on 11 September 2026.

By Martin Veltman

How we compared

Only what is on their own site. No numbers we could not read back, no verdict on the quality of their work, no second-hand experience. We are one of the four, so the only fair comparison we can make is about positioning: who they aim at, what they sell and what they say about price in public.

Something missing? Then their site changed after 11 September 2026. Click through and look for yourself.

HartAI

HartAI calls itself the AI partner for Dutch SMEs, with the promise that you hand your most boring hours to AI. The offer is broad: a Digital Twin, a Concierge, invoice AI, quotation AI, workflow agents, BI dashboards and AutoDM for Instagram messages. They aim at companies of 5 to 250 staff and keep a page per sector, from driving schools to healthcare. Recruitment is one of them.

On their recruitment page, workflow agents ask your standard screening questions and test candidates against your criteria, on the channels you already use. They name no ATS. The model: a free 15 minute scan, then a build at a fixed price in 6 to 10 weeks, with a 90 day guarantee. No amounts are given. More at hartai.nl.

Appfront

Appfront is an Amsterdam design and development agency that designs and builds digital platforms, with AI as part of the work. They do UX and UI design, web and mobile apps, front and back end, cloud and infrastructure, and maintenance under an SLA. They also run a OneDayBuild, from idea to app in a day.

They name no sector and no company size, and their site carries no recruitment product and no ATS integration. If you want a bespoke application built, this fits; if you want an agency that already knows the recruitment trade, start elsewhere. More at appfront.nl.

GrowGuide.ai

GrowGuide.ai delivers digital services to Dutch SMEs and says it serves more than a hundred companies. The offer runs from online marketing to automation: an AI voice agent that answers the phone, WhatsApp AI, web development and SEO, ads, review management, CRM workflows and Recruitment AI that searches candidates and screens them automatically on experience and location.

They are the only one of the four with rates on the site: monthly packages of 497, 1,297 and 2,497 euro per month, with a one-off setup amount, cancellable monthly. Recruitment AI is an add-on at 1,000 euro per month. They name no ATS. More at growguide.ai.

Plaatsr

We work for recruitment and staffing agencies only, from roughly five employees up. No other SMEs, no dentists. That is also the limitation: if you need something for your installation company, we are the wrong address.

What we build: CV screening on your own criteria, matching and database activation, submittals, follow-up and the data entry around it. Inside your own ATS, with integrations to OTYS, Bullhorn, Carerix, Recruitee, Easyflex and Salesforce Recruiting. We build and maintain the solution, with integrations and a dedicated platform where needed. Our rates are not on the site; after the first call you get a proposal with a fixed pilot price and a fixed monthly amount. What we build per system is on our page as an AI automation agency for recruitment.

When each one fits

  • If your agency sits in a group with several kinds of business, or you want invoices, quotes and customer questions handled in one go, a broad SME agency like HartAI or GrowGuide.ai makes more sense than we do.
  • If you want your own application designed and built, with design and maintenance included, you are looking for a development agency like Appfront.
  • If you want to know today what it costs per month and start without a scoping round, GrowGuide.ai's price list helps you further than a tailored quote.
  • If it is about the recruitment process itself, it has to work inside your ATS and you want someone who knows the trade, we are the obvious choice.

Put bluntly: all four of us build with AI, but three of the four do it for SMEs at large and we only do it for agencies.

Questions that come with this

Which AI agency is best for a recruitment agency?
That depends on what you want to automate. If it is the recruitment process inside your ATS, pick an agency that knows that trade. If it is the wider business, invoices, quotes and customer questions, a broad SME agency makes more sense. We are one of the parties here, so check this with the agencies themselves.
What does an AI automation agency cost in the Netherlands?
Of the four above, only GrowGuide.ai publishes rates: monthly packages from 497 euro per month with a one-off setup amount. HartAI, Appfront and we ourselves price per project, which you hear after a first call.
Do these agencies integrate with OTYS, Bullhorn or Carerix?
Of the four, only Plaatsr names those systems. HartAI, Appfront and GrowGuide.ai do not write about ATS integrations on their sites. So ask about it explicitly before you sign.
