How much time does AI save a recruiter?

That depends on how much repetition sits in your week, so an average says little. What we can show is three measured outcomes at clients: roughly 8 hours a week at Forta Solutions, on average 2 hours a day at Match Masters Recruitment and at Kamphorst Detachering the manual searching largely gone.

Short answer

There is no honest average, but there are measured examples: roughly 8 hours a week at Forta Solutions and on average 2 hours a day at Match Masters Recruitment.

Why we do not quote an average

The gain sits in repetition, and repetition differs per agency. A recruiter scoring thirty CVs a week wins something different from a staffing consultant tying requests and workers together all day. A number that holds for both holds for neither.

Forta Solutions: from 30 minutes to 0

Linda Wildbret had been giving free CV feedback for years to people who approached her on LinkedIn. Every CV cost her half an hour. We tuned a CV checker to the criteria she had built up over 22 years, and that check went to 0 minutes. She keeps roughly 8 hours a week. The whole story is in the case.

Match Masters: 2 hours a day

Steijn Tersteeg tracked candidates, clients and follow-ups in spreadsheets and loose notes. The dashboard we built logs that automatically and rolls out the overviews he used to make himself. On average two hours a day less admin, and from intake to live took two weeks. That one is written up too.

Kamphorst: no hours, but less searching

Here the gain was not on a clock but in precision. The recruiters searched LinkedIn and dozens of municipal portals by hand, per vacancy. Now a top 10 comes out that fits the vacancy, with the reasoning attached, and that manual searching is largely gone.

What this means for you

In the first call we look at which work repeats at your agency and how often. That produces an estimate we can back up, and sometimes the answer that there is too little repetition to gain from.
